Christine VanHoy Singer/Songwriter/Performer Northern California/ Bay Area LIFE IS GOOD Someone once asked me what it is about butterflies that I love so much, because I do love butterflies. Usually those kinds of questions aren't easy to answer, however this one was easy. A butterfly is the perfect example of transformation. How, just because you are one thing one day, you don't and won't necessarily have to be that same thing the next day. My life has been about transformation, changing, growing, learning, and now putting all that into my music. My album Life Is Good is available on CD Baby and iTunes, for $9.99. It is full of songs I have written over many years, about the things that matter to me, and a couple I chose to sing because they touched my heart, made me smile, told a good story. For me this was definitely a labor of love, and something I could give to my daughters and granddaughters as "proof", if you will, that you should never let go of your dreams. Never be afraid to transform yourself. Today a caterpillar. Tomorrow a butterfly. |
