| EasyChair Media launches trinity of expansions |

Windsor, Colo. April 7, 2008 – In a time when financial analysts are predicting a recession and many businesses worry about the impact of rising gas prices, multimedia company EasyChair Media is counting its blessings – and its partnerships.
If the first quarter of 2008 is any indicator of what’s to come, EasyChair will outpace its competition, which now includes custom publishing, public relations and event production/promotion/hosting.
“This month we’ll be launching our new community online portal, EasyLivingFrontRange.com, which coincides with our magazine’s name change,” says Kristie Melendez, national publisher for EasyLiving Magazine, formerly EasyChair Magazine. “We’re also about to launch our new PR division, which is a natural extension of the products and services we’ve been providing to our advertisers for the last eight years.”
In addition the company is building partnerships with some significant leaders in the Front Range, including former Mayor Wellington Webb and the Colorado Black Chamber of Commerce, KUVO radio, The Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Camp Experience, the Boulder BBB and the Evergreen Center for the Arts.
“We’re especially excited about our work with the City of Denver,” says Melendez. “Our flagship issue of EasyLiving includes a feature on Mayor Hickenlooper’s Green Initiative and he’s gracing the cover. We’re printing an extra 20,000 copies just to make sure we don’t run out. It’s no doubt the best magazine we’ve produced in our eight years in the industry.”
It’s not the first time the custom publishing company has held its own in the face of tough economic times. Despite last year’s increase in printing and postage costs (largely due to rising gas prices), EasyChair Media continued to excel in 2007, by garnering awards, sponsors, advertisers and major publishing bids. So what does Melendez credit?
“I think our 100,000 readers just appreciate positive news,” says Melendez. “And our team believes in the law of attraction. We’re focusing on positive news in the Front Range – not doom and gloom – and that’s allowing us to attract partners who share in our intentions. And you can’t get much more positive than Mayor Hickenlooper!”
About EasyChair Magazine EasyChair Media LLC is a rapidly growing Colorado-based regional publisher of community-oriented magazines, chamber of commerce directories, community guides, and shopping center publications. Past and current publications include EasyChair Magazine of Jefferson County, Boulder and Colorado Springs, as well as Southwest Plaza magazine in South Jefferson County and Littleton, the West Chamber of Jefferson County’s premium 72-page directory, the Colorado Black Chamber magazine and directory, and several EasyGuides to counties across Colorado.
The company’s staple publication, EasyChair Magazine of Jefferson and Boulder Counties, is mailed quarterly to a targeted demographic of 100,000 high-income households within Jefferson and Boulder Counties. The community-based publication combines sophisticated design with strong local features. Its well-defined controlled circulation provides one of the most effective targeted advertising vehicles in the entire Front Range market.
“With our dedicated and tenured staff of locally based professionals, we’ve been able to establish strong partnerships in the communities we serve while providing an outstanding and affordable means for promoting local businesses,” said Melendez. “Our people really care about the people they do business with. We are in this growth position today because of the efforts and ideas that have been shared and developed by our team members.”
Melendez, the former owner of a direct mail publishing franchise company based in Windsor, Colo., founded EasyChair Media in 2000 with Martin Mansfield, a Denver attorney experienced in franchising, publishing, and media. The duo joined forces in 1997, spending three years developing and researching a variety of other publishing opportunities before forming and launching EasyChair Media, LLC, 2000. Franchising opportunities are available throughout Colorado and nationally. Contact EasyChair Media, 800-741-6308, or log onto www.easychairmedia.com.
