Elyse Haren: "The Aftermath" of a One Woman Army on EasyLiving Front Range Colorado

The new album, "The Aftermath", mixed by the incomparable Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac, Green Day), will be released in Summer 2009, distributed to online retailers everywhere with physical distribution exclusively through Best Buy Stores.

Armed with an immediately recognizable voice, Elyse songs flow like intelligent poetry over hauntingly singable melodies . Fiercely determined and passionate, when Elyse met friends, Greg Pajer (guitar), Andrew James (bass) and Blake Paulson (drums), in late 2007, the foursome were rehearsing and recording demos for Elyse’s debut album, within weeks. After meeting with a few other notables, Elyse turned to her trusted friend and producer, Brett Chassen, and his business partner, Bob Kulick.

"Shut Up and Listen!", released digitally in August 2008 (iTunes, CD Baby, Rhapsody and Amazon) features, Tim Myers (One Republic), on piano, and Dave Collins (Linkin Park, Weezer, Soundgarden), mastering. The morning the album hit iTunes, Elyse was already meeting with Mark Needham (The Killers, Fleetwood Mac, Chris Isaak, Green Day) to remix the album.

Creating a major label quality music with no manager or label, is remarkable and the “Break My Heart Slowly” the ring tone from the unreleased album “The Aftermath” has already been downloaded over 12,000 times at Myxer.com.
