Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Carl began his journey across the United States. Carl’s artistic gift was developed through years of education (Cleveland State, and the Cleveland Institute of Art) studying interior design, graphic design, fine art and psychology.
“I think the greatest distinction between each of us is our ability to overcome the obstacles in our hearts. I strive to show that fight for life in my work.” His bold fluid brush strokes allow the energy of the artist to be seen by the viewer.
Carl’s creative energy is fed through a wide variety of hobbies and travel. “You just never know when the perfect scene will lay itself in front of you for creative exploitation.”
Carl is a member of the Denver Art League and has been fortunate enough to seek out and be mentored by such artists as Kim English, Rita Cirillo and Michelle Torrez.
