After a five year hiatus from recording, Maryland-based singer/songwriter Doug Alan Wilcox has managed to release two new discs in the past 12 months.
With the March 2008 release of the CD “Doug Alan Wilcox” still a fresh occurrence, Doug realized that he had really good songs left over and wasn't prepared to wait for another full-length project to materialize. Thus work was begun on the most recent collection, the EP “Like Trees”.
Available since January of this year, “Like Trees” kicks off with the song of the same name, a “socio-environmentally” themed tune co-written by Maryland poet Susan Beverly.
