 More than just cameras

Whether you’re a professional photographer, hobbyist or the designated family photographer, Mike’s Camera has what you need to capture the memorable moments of your life.

Mike’s Camera opened their first Boulder store in the 1100 block of Pearl Street in 1967. Today there are three image superstores in Boulder, Denver and Park Meadows offering a wide variety of photographic and video equipment and accessories along with state-of-the-art film developing.

Excellent customer service is a high priority for Mike’s Camera and they have received recognition from various Boulder organizations. One of the explanations behind their outstanding customer service is that each customer service representative is required to be a Certified Photographic Consultant. This program was developed by the Photo Marketing Association International and is a comprehensive educational and testing program encompassing photography, digital imaging and many aspects of photographic technology. This, in turn, allows each person to provide the best, most knowledgeable customer service possible.

Mike’s Camera also gives back to their community through their numerous charitable contributions. Their contributions are geared to several key community segments for which they feel their contributions can have a direct, positive impact on fundraising endeavors. They participate in school fundraisers, nonprofit and philanthropic organizations, clubs and many other community groups. They also sponsor a wide range of photo contests for a diverse array of organizations, as well as support educational programs for both children and adults.

Mike’s Camera has been a BBB Accredited Business since June 2002. For more information about this company or about the BBB Serving Boulder, visit www.boulder.bbb.org.
