The new CD release "Old School" from the Columbus, Ohio-based powerpop band New Method, offers an exciting journey for the listener. With an energetic and even quirky sound at times, the creative production of producer Kevan Cyka (Hillary Duff, Everlife, etc.) truly comes to life from start to finish. Musically, the project compares to Weezer and Bowling For Soup meets the Beach Boys. The CD can be purchased for $9.99 to $11.99, depending on the location. New Method tours live across the United States on a Faith and Family Night Tour, playing for professional sports teams. Past tour dates for the group have included events with the Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Dallas Stars, and L.A. Galaxy. The music from the CD release was designed to have a "pop" and "upbeat" sound that compliments the band's tour dates. From the quick pop-punk song "Temporary Tattoo" to the power-ballad "A Safe Distance", "Old School" has something for just about everyone.
