| Retiring Into Music |

Coco and Lafe, two empty-nester baby boomer singer-songwriters ran away from their Vermont home, wrote and recorded a new CD of acoustic, folk and blues based life stories, and are now touring both coasts playing Farmer's Markets, house concerts and the coffee house circuit. They travel with a small beagle and a large cappuccino maker.
"Cafe Loco", the new CD, has been picked up by 53 radio stations in three countries and is garnering praise: "Luscious", "Premier American Songwriter's you should hear live", "Stunning Metaphors"; and has been awarded "The Best New Music of 2009" by John Weingart of WPRB.
Ranging from simple guitar and cello duets, to New Orleans Jazz band productions, this duo sings with joyful harmonies and writes with sharply defined characters.
The CD is available from their website (www.cocolafe.com), CDbaby (www.cdbaby.com/cocolafe) and iTunes, pricing from 9.99 for download to 15.00 for the full CD with gorgeous artwork and lyric book. |
