| Joining Forces: Major green collaborations
Long gone are the days when “going green” and “sustainability” were associated with hippies and Ecology professors. Today’s movements toward respecting and protecting the earth have made their way not only into homes across America, but also businesses, nonprofits and government.
In the Front Range, we’re seeing a snowball effect. As influential corporations, nonprofits and politicians take the helm at the green wheel of change, the awareness among individuals, businesses and groups increases. And often, with awareness comes action.
Here are five major collaborations around the Front Range that are instigating change through both direct impact and the trickle-down influence that comes from leading by example.

Don't Get Rattled by Wall Street's Bumpy Road Big drops in the stock market…Wall Street in turmoil…Congress passing the biggest rescue plan in history. What’s an individual investor to do?
For starters, be patient. Don’t let the current situation lead you to take a “time out” from your long term financial goals.
You may also be able to reduce the effects of market volatility by diversifying your portfolio to include bonds, Treasury securities, certificates of deposit and other investments. However, diversification by itself cannot guarantee a profit or protect against loss.
Finally, buy quality investments. While no advice is guaranteed to be foolproof, these strategies are designed to help your investment portfolio weather most market conditions.
By following these tips, you can make progress toward your goals — in all markets.

Find the best affiliate programs and make money online with affiliate marketing! Affiliate marketing is an online advertising channel in which advertisers (online merchants that sell products or services) pay publishers (independent parties that promote the products or services of an advertiser on their Web site) only for results, such as a visitor making a purchase or filling out a form, rather than paying simply to reach a particular audience. This "pay-for-performance" model is in essence the modern version of the "finders'-fee" model, where individuals who introduce new clients to a business are compensated. The difference in the case of affiliate marketing is that advertisers only pay their publishers when the new client introduction results in a sale or a lead, making it a low-risk, high-reward environment for both parties.
