This summer Cat Care Society celebrates 30 years of helping homeless and abandoned cats in the metro area. Tails of the Painted Cats will raise much needed funds to provide shelter, care, and medical attention for the 60+ cats being cared for each day at Cat Care Society.
Tails of the Painted Cats are almost to the end of their travels. Like the real cats awaiting adoption, 17 large fiberglass cat forms have been painted by local artists and are seeking adopters and forever homes. The opening bid for each cat is $300. They are very clean, well groomed, don’t bite or scratch, allergy-free, and they get along well with other pets and children of all ages. On June 5th the Painted Cats will have a Dinner/Final Auction Gala at the Green Gables Country Club, 6800 W. Jewell Ave. Denver. Tickets are $75.00 and can be purchased now.
